After three enjoyable and successful years at Frazer Jones in Sydney I took the exciting opportunity to drive the Frazer Jones brand across the North of England. My responsibility will be our Northern operation based out of Manchester. The move back to my home city will develop our local footprint in the area and will give me the opportunity to deepen relationships with candidates and clients alike.
It’s been an exciting last few years for Frazer Jones as we’ve grown across the UK and globally to be the market leading specialist HR recruiter. With 83 recruiters operating across 11 offices globally we have maintained significant growth in all of the markets we operate and have 43 fee earners in London alone.
Organic growth has also been underpinned by an opportunistic acquisition of Maximum Management, a specialist HR recruiter with 30 years in the US market based in New York making it 11 offices globally; in London, Dusseldorf, Munich, Frankfurt, Milan, Dubai, Hong Kong, Singapore, Melbourne, Sydney and New York.
Due to an ever increasing demand of our clients for HR talent across the UK we have decided to further develop our regional presence across the UK and now have recruiters operating out of Bristol and Manchester. As a global leader in HR recruitment we offer our clients access to talent across the globe wherever they may be based and regardless of seniority.
The market in the Northern regions has been excellent and the signs are that it will continue to grow. Some of our key clients have recently moved their headquarters to Manchester as the city offers relatively affordable living and commercial space. Manchester is currently the fastest growing city in the UK and we are hoping for another surge in the coming years. A report called ‘Beyond the City’ put employment growth at 3.8% in Manchester between now and 2020, outpacing some of the world’s leading capital cities.
Frazer Jones have 20 years of experience in mapping the HR market to deliver tailored search and recruitment solutions to global clients. We are a truly globally-acting brand with local knowledge. My aim in the North is to develop the local talent pool, as well as having access to the Frazer Jones network throughout the UK and internationally which will widen the talent pool of HR professionals available to our clients in the regions.
